Ali Agan

CEO, Azercell Telekom

Prior to Azercell, Mr. Agan worked as CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the MEP Group. He has served as CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Group's 16 other companies in 5 countries.

Mr. Agan's professional experience consists of various positions in finance and telecommunications in different countries. Between 1997-2000, he worked as the District Manager of the AEGON Group in the United States.

Mr. Agan received a BS degree in Economics from Ankara University, Turkey. He completed a certificate program at the University of Toronto and received an MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore, Maryland. During the course of his studies in Baltimore, he also worked as Assistant at the Finance Department and completed an internship at the Department of Business and Economic Development, State of Maryland.
