Azertrans
Azertrans was established by "Azpetrol Neft Sirketi" as oil transportation and transshipment company.
The Company is engaged in the organization and performance of freight forwarding services in relation to the transportation of oil and oil products through the transportation corridor rom the Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Coast to the ports of Georgia on the Black Sea.
Azertrans owns and operates two crude oil and oil products trans-shipment terminals in Baku and Sangachal. Azertrans' Sangachal terminal has two interconnection pipelines linking it with the AIOC Sangachal terminal. The Company presently transships Asian crude oil directly to the BTC (Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan) pipeline through interconnection between AZERTRANS & AIOC Oil Terminals.
Azertrans is a shareholder of the Joint Venture Caspian Pipe Coatings. The joint venture manufactures special pipe coatings for corrosion prevention, three layer polyethylene, three layer polypropylene, mono layer FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) and concrete weight coating.
Azertrans is a shareholder of SOPS LLC Joint Venture. The joint venture provides integrated logistics services to companies engaged in oil and gas production in the Caspian Sea region.
