Bakutel-2004: ITC Exhibition Opens in Baku

Azernews -- The 10th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition, BakuTel-2004, was held at the Sports and Exhibition Complex of Baku from September 29 to October 2. The event was organized by Iteca Caspian, a subsidiary of the British ITE Group PLC.

92 companies from 16 countries, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, US, Germany, Russia, France, Finland, Greece, and the Netherlands, participated at the exhibition. 31 companies were represented at the show for the first time.

60% of the exhibitors were local companies. Bakutel-2004 was held with the support of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Investments Promotion and Advisory Foundation, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, and the Azerbaijan Banks Association.
