Siemens Establishes A Subsidiary In Baku
Siemens AG has established a subsidiary company in Azerbaijan. The company will mainly be developing the sale of equipment and services to cellular network operators and corporate clients, the general director of the local subsidiary, Mr. Samir Akhundov announced at a press conference on Friday.
Siemens LLC is looking to expand business with private and public entities, and work with major companies interested in establishing telephone networks.
Siemens opened its representation in Azerbaijan in 1998. Siemens' history in Azerbaijan dates back to 1864, when the company worked in the development of Azerbaijan's metals and electric power industries.
