USACC Hosts Closed-Door Roundtable with USTR on U.S. Trade Policy and Global Commercial Competitiveness
The United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) hosted a closed-door roundtable discussion with representatives of the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and executives from USACC member companies at the Chamber’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The discussion examined how U.S. trade policy can strengthen the global competitiveness of American companies and better support U.S. businesses pursuing commercial opportunities in Azerbaijan and the broader region.
Participating companies shared practical insights from the markets in which they operate and discussed challenges affecting their international business activities. The conversation addressed market access, commercial advocacy, export financing, regulatory barriers, and opportunities to improve coordination among U.S. government agencies in support of American exporters and investors.
The roundtable also provided an opportunity for direct dialogue between USTR representatives and the private sector on how the experiences of U.S. companies operating abroad can better inform the development and implementation of U.S. trade policy.
USACC thanks the USTR representatives and participating member companies for contributing to a candid and constructive discussion. The Chamber will continue working with its government and private-sector partners to advance practical recommendations, promote fair market access, and strengthen the international competitiveness of American businesses.
