Background:

SABIT is the U.S. Department of Commerce's industry-specific training program designed to train executives and scientists from Eurasia and other parts of the world. Since 1990, the program has trained over 7,000 professionals providing them the opportunity to become familiar with sectors of the U.S. industry and its regulations, establish business relationships, and learn about cutting-edge technologies and services.

Each industry-specific program trains up to 20 professionals for up to two weeks in the United States. SABIT sessions on market-based business concepts complemented by site visits and meetings with business and industry leaders allow trainees to advance their business knowledge and skills.

This year, SABIT will host two training programs for supply chain professionals:

  • October 1-15, Cold Chain for Eurasia
  • October 29-November 11, Supply Chain and Logistics for Eurasia
